Mission

Our mission is to support activities, programs, and organizations providing educational, heath related, and recreational opportunities for under-served children, worldwide.

Overview

Laura’s World Fund was founded in December 2005, one year after the death of Laura Wolf, a Merrimack NH teenager who lived life to the fullest and was a role model to many children and adults.  Her memory inspires our support for projects addressing school nutrition, youth sports, education and more for children who need it the most.

Our organization operates with zero administrative costs; every cent donated goes directly to our sponsored projects, which must be aligned with our mission. Board members champion our projects and donations, often backing up our financial commitment with volunteer hours. Laura’s World Fund is a 501(c)3 organization, but we are small, which enables us to be agile in our responsiveness to needs.  We prioritize projects that offer leadership development opportunities for youth.

We partner with Rainbows for Children, a charity registered in Switzerland and England, to support the Nicolas Robinson School in Mekele, Ethiopia.
