2021 Year In-Review

Our Year of 2021 in Review!

Laura Wolf was full of life and energy. She was a well-rounded athlete, student and friend to all. She had a contagious laugh that would brighten everyone’s day. She was kind, caring, driven and over all exceptional. These are the things that drive Laura’s World Fund today.

Thank you!

To Rosemarie Rung as she retires from her role with Laura’s World Fund. Rosemarie was a founding member and long-time Director. Your heart of gold provided so many wonderful things to children. We will miss working with you!

Caring Cupboard

Laura’s World Fund continued the caring cupboard project and expanded it! We are excited to say that we now deliver snacks and drinks to all three of the elementary schools. (Thorton’s Ferry, Reeds Ferry and Mastricola) as well as the James Mastricola Upper Elementary school. The Caring Cupboard allows teachers to have access to food for students who need it.

Concession Stand the High School

We have some exciting news! After some delays due to the pandemic, we are projecting to have a completed Concession stand at the high school in the Spring of 2022! The new building will be almost twice the size of what is currently there, it will have electricity and water. This facility will be available to all the sports teams! This has been in the works for a couple of years now, and it’s so exciting to see all the planning by so many finally coming together. Even more exciting? You can get in on the project! We are selling bricks that will complete the walk way up to and the patio surrounding the new structure. The bricks will be 4 by 4 for $50.00 or 4 by 8 for $100.00 Dollars. Your name or message will be engraved on your brick and a permanent part of the Merrimack High School athletic field. You can order your bricks directly at: https://www.polarengraving.com/laurasworldfund

Nicholas Robinson School

In Mekele Ethiopia. We continued to fund a nutrition program for the students. We have continued this project for a few years now, it’s one we are very proud of.

Yordanos Hospital

As we know, Covid affected the world this year, and we were able to help the hospital in Addis Ababa Ethiopia and purchase a respirator for them to help treat their covid patients. We are SO thankful for all of YOU! It’s because of your wonderful donations we are able to do all that we do and truly help make this world a better place! We wish you all a Happy, Safe and Wonderful 2022!

In Closing

We would like to as always thank you all for your continued support, especially this year when many experienced their own hardships. Without generous donations from people like you, Laura’s World Fund wouldn’t be. Thank you! From the bottom of our hearts!
